The EVI-400DR is a new color camera block which combines a 1/3 inch CCD with Super HAD technology (440,000 pixels NTSC) with a 12x optical zoom. Equipped with new functions not found in previous models, this camera is also designed with a more compact form factor. The EVI-401DR's small size (47 x 55.4 x 82.5 mm) enables the camera to be placed in challenging or small environments. Incorporating the latest CCD technology, the camera achieves even greater sensitivity (minimum object illumination of 1 lx). An EPROM chip contains the pre-programmed factory default camera settings so the camera setting can be stored without battery back up. The EVI-401DR is an ideal camera module for cost-conscious applications. The camera also offers such features as auto/manual focus, white balance controls, exposure controls and manual iris/gain/shutter. Additional features include a digital zoom with a standard 2x zoom (max. 8x) and a V-Lock function which allows the camera to be controlled externally, thus extending the potential range of applications.
